A clever owl in the forest

Many moons ago, there was a clever tawny frog mouth owl who lived in a deep, dark forest. One day, he caught many snakes and decided to make snake stew.

First, a fish swam out of a puddle, like a stingray in a panic, and suggested, "The best thing to add to snake stew is shrimp!"

Next, a vulture flew out of his magnificent barrel, swooping like a stingray, and said cheekily, "The best best thing for snake stew is snake eggs!"

After that, an octopus swam out of an ink barrel and said, "The best thing for snake stew is glowworms that glow in the dark!"

Finally, the tawny frog mouth owl, wanted to add the snakes to the stew, but the animals told him to taste it first.

"YUCK! You've poisoned me" he hooted as he flew into the bush. The tawny mouth owl was never seen again. The End.
